(Read our in depth review on why HostGator is rated #8)
Veterans of the shared hosting market, Hostgator’s better-than-average uptime and load speeds make them a solid option for both newcomers and well-established site owners alike. Unfortunately, the sub-par customer service response and higher, long-term price tag mean they remain in the bottom half of the table. It’s not the worst company out there, but it’s certainly not the best hosting company we’ve tested.
For beginners who want a quick solution for web hosting, HostGator is simple to use and sign up for. They offer 1-click installations for popular applications like WordPress, making the whole process very easy.
You know what you’re getting with HostGator; they are well-known, reliable, and an affordable choice to start with. Whilst I wouldn’t recommend growing your website with them over a long period due to their renewal fees, they are a solid one-stop-shop for hosting.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row el_class=”hosting-ipage”][vc_column width=”1/4″ el_class=”ipage-column”][vc_custom_heading text=”Money Back Guarantee” font_container=”tag:p|font_size:15|text_align:left”][vc_column_text]
